Situated in Central Victoria, our property has both Creekline Herb-rich Woodland and Heathy Dry Forest Ecological Vegetation Communities (EVC’s) including a diversity of native wildflowers. One of the great joys of living here is to observe the flora and fauna through the seasons each year. When I can, I photograph species and try to identify them using a number of field guides we have accumulated, and the help of knowledgeable people. Each year we observe new species. Each year we wonder why one species is dominant and another is not. No two years are the same.
