The Golden Plains Arts Trail is on from 10am until 5pm on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May. My art studio is Venue 7 on the North Trail.

My Art Studio is open this Weekend!

Fifteen Acres is all about nature, and since its conception in 2012, my focus has always been confined to what happens on our 15 acres of land. In recent years, we transformed an old bungalow into an art studio. For the first time, I am opening my art studio to the public as part of the Golden Plains Arts Trail. I am Venue 7 on the North Trail, which ranges from Dereel, through Garribaldi, Cambrian Hill, Napoleons, Ross Creek, Haddon, Smythesdale and ends in Scarsdale. The South Trail starts in Stonehaven, just outside Geelong, and passes through Bannockburn, Teesdale and Inverleigh. You can find out more on the GP Arts Inc. website, including links to each of the participating artists.

So far, I have been keeping the nature of Fifteen Acres separate from my creative work, which is on LisaGHunter.com.au but I thought this might be the time to bring the two together. Among the items on display are my fabric designs featuring wildflowers, my photographs of wildflowers and my abstract landscape paintings. So, if you are close to the Golden Plains Shire, and you’re interested in art. please check out the Golden Plains Arts Trail and make Venue 7 one of your stops. You’ll find that many other participating artists are also interested in nature, and there are many talented people in this year’s Arts Trail.

My studio is open from 10am until 5pm on Saturday 6th May and Sunday 7th May.

Let me know what you think!
