Technically, the Parsons Bands Orchid emerge after the first heavy rains of Autumn. Well, we had a slight shower and here they are. At the moment the Orchids are only lightly scattered here and there, so I am hoping for a heavy downfall soon to encourage more.
The photograph below was taken with my standard lens as my Macro is in being repaired. Hopefully I can add a few macro shots of the Parsons Bands before too long.

Thanks – I’m not sure what kind of a season it will be. Things are still so dry here. We’ve had so little rain, I’m surprised to see any orchids at all really. Anyway, I will do my best to capture and share those that I do find. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
