Very pretty! I used to have a variety like this in our garden but sadly it’s disappeared. Perhaps they have a relatively short lifespan. Pity….
I hope the lifespan isn’t too short as it is such a lovely tree. I also enjoy seeing the birds feed from the flowers and fruit/seeds of the tree. So often, the flowers on our gums are so high up it’s impossible to view them from the ground. Thanks Margaret! Lisa
Yep – today the first first flowers opening from my cuttings of F. Kempenaar over heer, too! So exciting! Very nice phtograph!
I love Fuchsia’s but have had varied success in growing them. The hot sun over Summer seems to kill them off, so either I am planting them in the wrong position, or I am not watering them enough. Lisa
